Traditional Italian Techniques
All of our pizzas are hand-stretched and stone-baked, following authentic Italian traditions. Our dough is crafted over two days, with the first 18 hours spent in a special fermentation room known as the ferma-biga. This slow, careful process enhances the dough’s flavor and digestibility, resulting in a light, yet flavorful base that perfectly complements our premium ingredients
We offer our housemade pastas, freshly prepared entrees, and indulgent desserts—all crafted with the same dedication to quality and tradition.
High-Quality Ingredients
We use only the finest Italian, international, and locally sourced ingredients—ranging from high-quality flour to fresh, seasonal toppings. We take pride in avoiding preservatives and GMOs, ensuring every bite is as natural and fresh as possible. Whether it is our special house mix of fior di latte mozzarella or our freshly made sausages, each ingredient is selected for its quality and authenticity.
At Ristorante Pizzeria Amore Mio, we are proud to be one of the few restaurants in Australia to use organic wheat germ in our flours—
a natural superfood found in the wheat kernel, but often missing from large-scale distribution flours used in restaurants and supermarkets. This nutrient-rich wheat germ enhances the flavor and texture of our dough, making every bite a bit more wholesome and satisfying.
We also take great care to ensure that all our flours are unbleached, preserving the purity of the ingredients we use and keeping your meal as natural as possible. From our hand-stretched pizzas to our housemade pastas, you can taste the difference that quality and tradition make.
DOP Certification
We use a range of DOP (Denominazione di Origine Protetta) certified products. This certification guarantees that each ingredient, such as our San Daniele prosciutto or extra virgin olive oil, is sourced from its original region in Italy, crafted using traditional methods with only the best local ingredients.
